The shot, drawn while you change it

The DoP's Camera tab draws the shot as a plan, an elevation and a frame, and moves with every field — size, angle, height, lens, sensor, aspect, aperture, move. The same setup is written out in words for a model that takes no picture.

NewCameraThe shot in plan. Above the camera fields, the DoP's window draws where the lens stands and how high, the distance the shot size and the lens give, what the frame covers on the subject, the depth of field, and the move: a dolly's path, a truck's travel, a pan's fan, a zoom's second cone, an arc around the subject. Change a size, angle, height, lens, sensor, aspect, aperture or move and the camera follows at once, before it saves. A frame beside them shows the aspect, the crop and a canted frame.
NewCameraThe plan in words. The same setup is a sentence under the drawing — camera distance, lens height, angle, what the lens takes in, the move — and Copy the plan puts it on the clipboard. The DoP's agent reads it with the shot, so a model that is given no picture still gets the camera.
ImprovedCrew panelOne Activity feed, in the chat. The crew panel's header has a third side beside Team and Crew: Activity — what the crew decided, what has stopped and what it made, in one feed, with every run still being generated on the same time line carrying its progress, its Details and its Cancel. A run is said once: while a job is on the feed, its department's working card is not drawn again beside it, and the band at the foot of the panel is gone.
