Direct every storyboard sheet
Edit each sheet’s full prompt, move between scenes with your work saved, and guide the drawing with your references. Last AI edit of this release note: GPT-6 (exact version not provided) · 2026-11-05T06:24:37+03:00 · Codex desktop.
FixedStoryboard ArtistKeep shorter sheets readable. White caption cards with thin borders sit beneath the artwork. Captions follow the picture borders actually drawn, including uneven rows. If the borders cannot be identified, the artwork stays whole with a separate block of shot notes below it.
ImprovedStoryboard ArtistOne shot number throughout. Generated descriptions and picture captions begin with the shot number from the Shots track, keeping the original numbers when a shot is switched off. Separate Panel numbers no longer appear in these labels.
NewStoryboard ArtistEdit the full prompt. Open Prompt, edit and save the complete generation text for the selected sheet, or reset it to the generated prompt. Each sheet keeps its own saved text.
ImprovedStoryboard ArtistRead the scene as a story. Board and Re-board keep the artist’s shot descriptions in each sheet’s Description. Your manual description and saved full prompt retain priority.
ImprovedStoryboard ArtistReferences guide the drawing. Your selected references guide linework, shading and detail; character sheets guide appearance. The default is a rough black-on-white storyboard, while saved full prompts keep their exact text.
FixedStoryboard ArtistMove between scenes with your work saved. Prev scene and Next scene in the header open the neighbouring scene on its first sheet. A failed save keeps your current scene and draft open.
FixedStoryboard ArtistThe timeline and sheet picker agree. The picker lists the current scene’s sheets. Board opens the exact sheet you select, and shot numbers stay aligned with the Shots track, including disabled panels.
FixedStoryboard ArtistReadable, compact captions. Latin and Cyrillic captions render as letters. Compact caption strips preserve the text and artwork.
FixedReferencesChoose references in a wider gallery. See four images per row on wide screens and fewer on small screens. The image list scrolls while Add reference and Close stay visible.
