A passport for the production, and every scene shot in one go
The Director can now break down every scene still waiting for its shots with one button instead of one scene at a time. The export can hand over the production passport — the whole film as a printed reference document, pictures and all — and, beside it, what the production cost and who spent it. The timeline can be set to one department at a time. And every crew card says how long that job took.
NewDirectorAnalyze remaining scenes: one button in the Director's Shots stage runs the shot breakdown for every scene that has none yet, scene after scene, and stops at the first one that fails. Scenes that already have a shot list are left as they are.
NewExportProject passport: the production's reference document, as a real PDF. The story and its structure; the cast, each with their portrait, turnaround, wardrobe and makeup states; every location with the plates, palette and materials the art department settled on; a breakdown sheet for every scene — cast, extras, props, wardrobe, makeup, effects and sound — carrying the frames that were shot for it; the props with their plates; and the crew. Compiled from the production's own work, set in the studio's own typography, and printable at any size.
ImprovedCrewEvery crew card and every message an agent writes shows how long the job has run — counting while it works, and settling on the final time once it is done or halted.
NewExportCost report and statement of charges: what the production spent, itemised — every render, upscale and analysis with its model, what it was priced by, and what it came to — totalled per provider and per member of the crew, with the hours each of them worked. Estimated from our own price tables, since the rendering is billed to the key the production runs on.
NewTimelineThe timeline can be set to one department: pick a role and only its tracks stay on screen, with the choice named in the toolbar and dropped in a click. A role you never want to see is hidden for good with the eye beside it — the timeline then says how many are hidden and brings any of them back by name.
ImprovedGalleryA department opens on its 200 most recent stacks and draws the rest as they are asked for, so a production with thousands of frames opens its gallery at once — in the editor, in the pickers, and on the moodboard alike. Paging through the lightbox no longer stops at the edge of what has been drawn.
