Add shots and sequences on the timeline

The shot list is edited where the film is laid out: a Seedance sequence is added, copied or removed from the Sequences track, a shot from a + at the end of any scene, and a scene the DoP has not reached yet takes its first shot by hand.

NewTimelineAdd a sequence. On a Seedance production, right-click a card on the Sequences track: Add sequence after, Write a sequence… (the DoP writes its first shot from one line), Duplicate sequence, Add shot to this sequence and Delete sequence. A sequence you add is numbered off the one before it — after B08-2 comes B08-2a — and the sequences around it stay exactly where they were, so no take lands on a sequence it was not rendered for.
NewTimelineAdd a shot where there was none. A scene with no shots yet shows a dashed Add shot slot across its length — its first shot, without analysing the scene. Hover the last shot of any scene for a + in its corner, and Sequence → Add shot / Add sequence adds at the playhead. The playhead moves onto whatever was added, so it is on screen and in the monitor.
FixedTimelineDeleting from the Sequences track deletes what you clicked. On a Seedance production the old Delete shot there removed a shot counted by the sequence's place in the scene, not a shot of that sequence. It is now Delete sequence, and it asks first.
FixedShot listAnalysing a scene you started by hand keeps the DoP's first shot. When a shot you added and one the DoP planned had the same number, the DoP's was dropped without a word; it now takes the next free number instead.
