ImprovedDirectorPrep the Scene is the button that writes a scene's shot list and brief (it was Analyze Scene); a prepped scene offers Re-prep. On the timeline banner, Prep next scene does the next one and Full Pre-Production does every scene still waiting. The Director's window ends the run with Stop prep, and the scene bar reads Prepped · 6 setups.
ImprovedDepartmentsDesign makes the first take and Reshoot makes another. That holds everywhere: in Casting, Costume, Makeup, the Storyboard sheets, Props, the Production Designer's sheets and location references, the Shot generator (Design final frame) and the Render studio's run button. The Production Designer's empty scene has one button, Design the set. The poster is now the One-Sheet, opened from File → Design the one-sheet…. In the Props window, Prep the Scene and Prep all scenes build the props breakdown.
ImprovedCastIn Casting, the neutral turnaround lives in the Camera test tab: the Character set of four headshots, plus the full length, with Take # under each tile. A costume is a look, and a character's looks make up their wardrobe set: use Design looks or New look. The makeup states are makeup looks too: use Design looks or Add look.
ImprovedCrewThe Storyboard Artist can Board the scene and Re-board it. The Gaffer rewrites a lighting plan with Relight. Sound & Score drafts its cues with Spot with Crew.
ImprovedTimelineThe first block on the timeline is Development / Production Office. The Art department's plan lane is the Floor plan. The left panel is the Bin, and its third tab is Rendered.
ImprovedDeliveryFile → Deliverables… (it was the Export assistant) has the Project master with Download master, and the backups tab is the Vault.
ImprovedGalleryThe gallery's heart now circles a take, and the filter is Circled. The production's pick for a slot is a select: the filter is Selects, the chip on the tile reads SELECT, and the Shot generator marks it ★ Select. The glossary lists every new word.
