The rest of the new design

The last of the redesign lands: the timeline remembers how you left it, the breakdown's estimate and progress read like the rest of the studio, the Bin finds and plays your sound, every model picker says what a model is good for, and the team talks beside the crew in every window. The landing, changelog and settings take the same look, LURIA is open to everyone, read-only — and the Guide has a game: shoot one scene of it, then keep it as your own project.

Editing bench holds the reel exactly where she left it, mark and all
ImprovedProjectsA project card says how far it got: whether the screenplay is read, how many scenes, shots and takes it holds and how many renders failed. Edited is the last change to anything in it, and the list sorts by it.
FixedShotsChanging a shot's aspect or frame rate no longer marks its takes out of date — neither reaches the render.
ImprovedMakeupBefore a character's looks, Makeup lists what Casting must make first — the Character set and the Full length, with any missing angle — and its button opens Casting on that very action.
ImprovedLightingEvery shot's light plan is Drafted, Planned, Approved or Executed — on its card, in the list of shots and in the scene's count — or says it is not lit yet.
ImprovedEditTakes and renders are named the way the timeline names them — Sc 03 · 01 · Take 32, Sc 03 · Location plate — in the Bin, the Project gallery and Render, with the model as its picker calls it.
NewGuideShoot your first scene. A game at the top of the Guide's Start here: pick your chair on set and walk scene 3 of LURIA — the porch at dawn — from the screenplay to a printed take. Every move chooses among what that production really made: its shot list, storyboard drafts, Lev's portraits and costume designs, the location plates, the takes of its first sequence; the budget adds up what each cost, and the credits roll with your name.
NewGuideMake it my project. At the credits, the scene you walked becomes a project of your own — its shots, cast, costumes, plates and takes, with your picks as its selections — and opens in the studio, ready to change and render.
NewGuideThe practice project. Take the tour now asks where to walk it — on a practice project, the default, or on one of your own. The practice project is one scene of LURIA, Lev Zasetsky in the hospital corridor, in the real studio: run the breakdown, cast him, dress him, design the wound, draft the corridor, find the spoon, board it, light it, make the frame and the shot, spot the sound — every button works, the crew answers with what LURIA really made, nothing is billed and no key of yours is needed.
NewShotDraft, on Seedance 2.5. Switch Draft on in a shot's video settings and takes come back at 480p for about a fifth of the price — judge movement and performance on drafts, then press Render final 1080p under the one you keep: the same take, rendered again at full resolution. A draft can be finished for seven days. See Shots.
NewEditSave view. In the timeline's ⋮ menu, Save view keeps the zoom, where you were and which departments are hidden, and the project opens that way next time; Show all brings every lane back. The zoom shows its percentage — click it to fit the whole project.
NewEditDepartments ▾ on the Next step bar lists every department in the order the work flows, what each waits on, and which one is next — pick one to open it. The crew's faces now sit in a row under Crew.
ImprovedEditFull Pre-Production is the main button while the breakdown is being reviewed, with Open Scene breakdown beside it.
ImprovedBreakdownThe breakdown's estimate and its progress are drawn like every other window: the estimate with its pages, stages, takes and cost; the progress with its six stages, the scenes as cards, and the live output beside it.
NewSoundThe Bin finds and plays your sound. Tabs for All, Shots, Audio and Rendered, search with ⌘F, audio rows with their waveform and Play, and a mark on what is already on a cue or in the cut. In Sound & Score, Sound cues follows each theme through the scenes it plays in, and a scene lists its clips — with Upload audio.
ImprovedShotsEvery model picker says what a model is good for first — Consistent characters — Nano Banana 2. Prepping props asks which Claude model reads the scene. In the Shot generator, Seedance's image, video and audio references sit in their own groups, and a closed Advanced shows what you changed.
NewChatTeam and Crew, side by side. The Crew panel and every window's chat switch between the crew and the people on the project: your messages on the right, days marked, @ to name someone, and a dot on a window's Chat when someone wrote to you.
ImprovedProjectsEach phase says what closes it — hover a phase to read Done when ….
ImprovedStudioThe landing, the changelog, Members, Billing, Analytics and the studio's settings take the studio's look. The Guide's Director pictures load, and the tour lights what each step made and stays on screen.
NewDirectorOverview, the Director's first tab. The whole project from the director's chair: the phase it is in and what closes it, Needs you — every department's work that is in and waiting for your decision, to Approve or Revise right there, in every department: the take in the cut, the breakdown, the props list and the sound & score included — and every department in every scene, five scenes at a time or as one grid, with Open → into each department on its scene. See the Director's window.
NewProjectsLURIA 0408 is in everyone's Projects list. A copy of the project, open to every account as Can view: read every window, watch the cut, download what is there — nothing in it can be changed or rendered. See what Can view sees.
