The Producer's validation, one owner per light, help on every screen
The screenplay's validation now opens Pre-production; light, look and grade each belong to one person; the ? opens the book on the window you are in; Members and Usage & spend show the real workspace.
ImprovedProducerNothing is prepped until the Producer has validated the screenplay. The Validation tab approves it, sends it back, or waives the check — a waiver says why and what it leaves open, and goes in the record. Until then Prep the Scene and Full Pre-Production say what they wait for and open the Producer; the header, Workflow, Blockers and Next step all say the same.
ImprovedLightingLight, the look in camera and the grade each have one owner. The Gaffer's plan is what stands on set; colour temperature, contrast and mood are the DoP's call; the grade intent is the DoP's, for the colourist. Each is approved by its owner, and the Gaffer's draft only proposes — it never overwrites what a person wrote.
NewHelpHelp on this screen. The ? menu opens the book on the section for the window you are in, and a window's own ? does the same. Blockers, Next step, the run plan and the failure desk carry a Read more; the Guide keeps its tours and points into the book for the rest.
FixedSettingsMembers and Usage & spend show your real workspace. Members lists who is in it, their access and when they were last here — add someone by email, change access, remove; Usage & spend counts this month's generations, video seconds, crew time and estimated spend from what the studio recorded. There is no plan billing yet, and the page says so.
